Hire a Wedding Coordinator: Make Your Dream Wedding a Reality

You’ve dreamed of this day since you were a little girl and have played the scene out in your mind hundreds of times. The BIG day has finally arrived! Just as you begin to waltz up the aisle to marry your prince charming. . . PANIC sets in. Where’s the ring? Did grandma pick up the cake? Did anyone invite Cousin Mary? Did David remember the marriage license? Don’t let this tragic scene happen to you.

Weddings large or small consist of many details that can easily become overwhelming: invites, cake selection, photographer, favors, food, budget, bridesmaid’s dresses, marriage license, etcetera, and etcetera. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone available to answer your questions and address your concerns? Hire a professional wedding coordinator and make your dream day a reality. Wedding planners are no longer a luxury of the rich and famous. Most coordinators offer affordable pricing and are now the norm for couples of all walks of life. In fact, a good coordinator can save you money.

When you hire a wedding coordinator you are investing in a personal assistant who has the experience, expertise, professional contacts, and time to relieve your stress and ensure your special day plays out just like you dreamed it would. In most cases, the savings you gain by hiring a wedding coordinator who can negotiate great deals and weed out vendors out of your price range will cover the cost of this important service, if not more. On the day of your wedding, you can focus on playing out your role stress free in an exquisitely planned, “dreamy” wedding.

“Ay me! for aught that I could ever read, could ever hear by tale of history, the course of true love never did run smooth” says Lysander from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Act I, Scene I, 132). Well, Shakespeare, for at least one day true love can run smooth; that is, at least with the right wedding coordinator.

Tim and Katie's Wedding

What a fun busy summer we have had. Miracle One Events & the family were able to go back to the Pacific Northwest 2 times this summer. The first visit was in June. We celebrated dad Hoseney's 60th birthday. I served Luke and Jenny Jaspers for their June 25th wedding.
The above posted video is from our second visit in July. My cousin Katie tied the knot with Tim. This video was done by a really talented videographer Mike Lynman of Eternity to Follow Productions. I like what Mike shares on his website: "My name is Mike. I've been fascinated with video ever since I was little. Me and my friends would shoot movie's or remake movies in our own way. I've admired the artistic side to film. The emotion it can portray and the memories it can hold. I get my inspiration from this wonderful world our creator made and the beauty of color and motion. Aside from Videography I'm a musician, graphic designer, and soon to be husband. I've lead worship in the past at various churches. Creativity is a huge passion of mine, as you can see. But God is my biggest passion. God leads me wherever I go. Without him I am nothing. Art is nothing."
His talent is worth checking out! If you want to add something special to your wedding day memory - hire a videographer who is a proven talent, Mike Lynman!

New Service Area - Southeast Missouri

I have an announcement to make! My family & Miracle One Events are moving! My husband Jason recently started working at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He is the new Vice President for Student Success. I am really proud of all his hard work. It is a great opportunity for our family.
I am still working with a few summer weddings and possibly one non profit event, here in the Pacific Northwest. I’ll be in the area until March wrapping things up and getting ready for the big move. I’m excited to expand my territory by serving Southeast Missouri and the surrounding areas.
Miracle One Events: Serving the Pacific Northwest, Southeast Missouri, or your destination! (Hubby doesn't mind the tax write off with a trip back home now and then.) I hope you're enjoying the New Year.

Keep It Simple - Christmas Party

A holiday party is a great way to let your employees or clients know that you appreciate them. I love the idea of no hassle, arrive and "be served" parties. I found this little gem while searching for ways to coordinate for an office party. Who doesn't love Portland's "Christmas Ships"? If you have a staff of 10 or more this is definitely something to consider. Even if you have a staff of 2, but want to entertain some clients you could use this fantastic idea!
Enjoy ~

October Wedding

It was a beautiful sunny day when Mr. and Mrs. S tied the knot! What a joyous occasion. One highlight of their wedding was the inclusion of their Chihuahua "Toby". It was so cute to see the pup in his tux.
Ben & Kerri live in Beaverton OR, but chose to strike up some nostalgia by hosting their wedding in the church where Kerri's parents had wed Some 40 years ago. It was a medium size wedding with family and friends in attendance. The happy couple spent the evening of their wedding in the Columbia River Gorge and honeymooned at the Oregon Coast.

Thanks for the pleasure of coordinating your wedding. “Happy Anniversary” - Miracle One Events!

Birthday Celebration

10 years ago today I was 27 and traveling the Eastern US selling Christian music. Oh the fun of my youth! Did I just admit my age? Yes! Today I am 37. Only 3 short years from the big "4-0"! Being in the Christian music industry was filled with many live concerts and meeting artist. Good times! I haven't attended a live concert in a few years.

I was thrilled to recieve an early birthday gift from my little sisters, Renee and Kaitlyn. Tickets to see Jason Mraz. I love his acoustic driven tunes.
We started our celebration off by going to an early dinner at The Macaroni Grill in downtown Portland, Oregon. The Macaroni Grill (MG) is an up scale version of The Olive Garden. The MG had great ambiance and yummy food. The waiter, who we thoroughly embarrassed by asking for a photo with Renee, sang happy birthday to me in Italian. Just the dinner alone was an event; fun and full of laughter.

I love the City of Portland. It has unique amenities and fun modes of transportation. Kate wanted to park by Lloyd center and take the Max to save on parking. It was a short 3 minute ride to The Rose Garden. We arrived an hour early to get settled and do a little people watching. We were thrilled with our seats which were located directly behind the floor seating and just ten rows up from the ground. We thought it was odd that all the rows in front of us were empty. Little did we know of the special birthday gift Jason had planned: )

He sang many old and new favorites. But the real excitement came at intermission when Jason Mraz disappeared. He was escorted through the lower tunnels of the Rose Quarter to a small makeshift stage smack in front of us!!! Kate began pulling my arm, while Nae shoved me from behind! I grabbed my purse and down we went. Nothing between Mraz and us but a security guard! He did a 3 song set that swooned Renee to tears! It was fun to be up close and personal.

Anyway, it was a fun evening and I was honored Renee and Kaitlyn thought so highly of me to give me such a wonderful birthday gift.

Thanks sisters!
Angela
